Job Description Job Description Job Title: Customer Outreach Specialist Job Description We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Customer Outreach team in the Ft Lauderdale/Broward area. The role involves supporting the Storm Secure Underground Program by connecting with service customers, explaining the program, and obtaining necessary documents and signatures for utility easements to close out projects. Responsibilities Use personal vehicle to travel to various locations and contact property owners. Discuss project and proposed equipment placement with property owners and service customers. Explain details of the Storm Secure Underground Program to service customers. Gain customer agreement to proceed with the project and acquire necessary signatures for easements and acknowledgment forms. Maintain ongoing communication with property owners and occupants throughout all project stages in accordance with company policies. Organize and submit documents electronically to the support team. Provide excellent customer service and communication, including follow-up and documentation. Communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and via email with customers, staff, and vendors. Read and understand construction and engineering plans. Coordinate special projects as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Sales experience Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience in door-to-door customer field sales Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to engage in small talk and converse with strangers Additional Skills & Qualifications Entry-level position; must reside in the Fort Lauderdale/Broward (Central & South) area Valid driver's license required Ability to pass drug test, BG check, and motor vehicle record check Ability to drive locally and long distances regularly Must be able to lift 25 pounds Prior utility experience is a plus Jeans or nice pants and steel-toe boots required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided Work Environment The role primarily involves fieldwork in the Miami area using a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement provided. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 11 am-7 pm, with some Saturdays as needed. Jeans and steel-toe boots are required in the field. PPE, including shirt and vest, will be provided. A company phone will be issued, although a personal phone may be used initially. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davie, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
