Job Description:
QC Laboratories, Inc. is a privately owned industrial and
commercial Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Laboratory, incorporated
in the State of Florida in 1965 with branches in Hollywood,
Florida, and Cincinnati, Ohio. QC Laboratories' expertise is in
providing all disciplines of NDT services for aircraft, aerospace,
marine, and construction materials. We are seeking a career-minded
individual for the position of Quality Administrator, preferably
someone who is looking for long-term growth and potential. In
addition to the job description below, candidates must possess
strong customer service skills, an eye for detail, and the ability
to multi-task at a quick pace. Being a team player is a must!
SUMMARY: Under Quality Manager's direction, assists and administers
the Quality Management system to ensure compliance with
certification requirements for both Head Office (Hollywood) and
Subsidiary location; and recommends enhancements to Quality
Management system, trains staff on ISO/AS9110 standards and
reporting requirements; monitors to ensure data and document
control requirements are met; prepares, plans, reports; and
performs related duties as assigned. Job
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in Business
Administration - Two to four years demonstrated experience in a
corporate environment Maintains and updates the Quality Manuals and
Procedures (QSP) to current revisions of ISO9001 and AS9100
standards Coordinates activities required by QCL certification
program, including preparing required documentation, submitting
applications and coordinating annual reviews and technical
revisions to internal manuals Reviews drafts of new and updated
Manuals for conformance with customer, regulatory, state and
federal requirements Works with QCL staff to resolve process and
other issues applicable Monitors revisions and additions to
certification and regulatory requirements for impacts on QMS
requirements Drafts new provisions to meet requirements or
coordinates drafting by others Compiles existing and/or develops
new QA reports for management Coordinates preparation for onsite
audits by customers and regulatory agencies Monitors QCL corrective
action reporting system Ensures all reporting requirements have
been met, including reports have been entered in the system,
investigations have been sufficient to accurately determine root
causes, and appropriate corrective action has been taken Verifies
documentation is compliant and full traceability is present to meet
data integrity standards Verifies processes have been followed to
ensure that discrepancies, identified root causes and corrective
actions taken are fully visible to all levels of management Ensures
periodic audits and assessments of inspection methods and processes
are performed by approved auditors, down to a detailed level to
verify compliance with the laboratory QA manual, applicable
procedures and all certification and regulatory requirements
Documents and is responsible for all reporting all Customer
Satisfaction survey data and Analysis of data regarding turnaround
time, warranty returns and customer complaints Must be detail
oriented Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both
written and verbal Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and
detail-oriented Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving,
and decision-making skills Must be able to learn procedures quickly
and be a team player Able to maintain a professional demeanor and a
polished professional appearance Must possess the willingness to
assist where needed to ensure the company meets its goals and
objectives on time Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
and effectively Background checks and Drug Screenings will be
completed on all candidates considered for hire. - - DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports to the General Manager Provides technical
support to ensure a high performance, customer service-oriented
work environment which supports achieving company, objectives, and
values Proofreads and checks typed and other materials for
accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards, policies,
and procedures Provides information and handles issues that may
require sensitivity and the use of sound independent judgment
Response to requests for information and complaints refers matters
to appropriate Management Staff and/or takes or recommends action
to resolve the request or complaint Acts as liaison in coordinating
matters between the management staff, customers, and regulators
Provides backup support for other office staff Assist in other
tasks as required PREFERRED: Aerospace and government/regulatory
agencies knowledge - - PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Frequently required to sit, walk, or stand Frequently required to
lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds such as reams of paper and
