Job Description We---re hiring a loan partner who will work directly alongside our loan origination staff to help our applicants through the mortgage loan process. You---ll get applicants mortgage ready, prepare paperwork, and respond to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. If you---re a detail-oriented employee with strong communication and time management skills, we highly encourage you to apply. Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 yearly Responsibilities: Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned mortgage loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance or banking preferred MS Office proficiency required; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. At least 5 years of professional office environment required, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance, business, or banking preferred Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mortgage, real estate, title, or banking industry required Comprehension of basic mortgage options such as Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, and Non-QM Bilingual - English/Spanish - preferred but not required; with excellent customer service and communication skills MS Office proficiency required; some CRM, LP/DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred NMLS license not required, but HIGHLY desired About Company Highlands Residential Mortgage was created in 2010 in the midst of uncertainty and rapid change in the mortgage industry.
