Job Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW -The Project Lead (PL) is responsible for managing all aspects of assigned jobs, including the installation, programming, start-up, test, check and documentation on projects utilizing a wide range of CCTV products and systems. A successful PL must be personable and knowledgeable self-starter who makes sound decisions on site that are in the best interest of the project and Bryant Integrated Technologies management and owners. The PL must be able to adapt and recommend changes to a project while in the field based on local conditions that were not identified earlier. The PL must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work closely with subcontractors and customers. -The Project Lead's primary goal is to ensure that projects are completed on time and within accepted quality metrics.
Must be willing and able to travel in the US and international as needed.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Act as overall Project Lead overseeing daily management of organizational defined projects:
  • Monitor project progress / attending project meetings.
  • Participate in project review and status meetings and communicate project status.
  • Submit, update, track, monitor, and close requirements.
  • Update VMS software with changes made during project.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to manage projects and ensure technicians are working diligently and staying on schedule.
  • Training of technicians as needed.
  • Training of owner representatives as needed on system usage.
  • Manage company assets such as tools and stock inventory.
  • Coordinate / control material distributions / release to company work crews.
  • Manage and schedule technicians and field personnel.
  • Perform final inspections of project with installation team before owner sign off.
  • Full oversight of the project installation:
  • Prepare project change orders, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and quality improvement.
  • Prepare LGA and MileStone documents before departing work site.
  • Prepare, update all documentation before, during and after installation.
  • Review installation location and method before cameras are installed.
  • Research and resolve issues during project life-cycle.
  • Control / log / keep inventory of all equipment removed.
  • Follows proper schematic diagrams and hook-up procedures. Tests operation of system.
  • Handle on-site owner concerns.

    • Hands on expertise in planning and execution of large scale CCTV and Video surveillance projects.
    • 7+ years of relevant experience
    • Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced changing environment and must have a moderate level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products; Excel, Word, Visio, Adobe PDF. -Physical Requirements and Work EnvironmentWork on ships or in shipyards during project executions.The physical demands described here are representative of those requirements employees must meet to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations. While performing job functions the employee is regularly required to sit, and stand, write, review and type reports, compile data, operate a pc, communicate, listen, and assess information. The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other job locations and may lift, push, pull or move 15-20 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to walk to the dock, ascend and descend the vessel. This position may regularly travel domestically or internationally. Visual requirement include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to job sites, possibly travel domestic and international, and work in shipboard functions.
