Summary:
In conjunction with the Director of the family birth place, the Asst. Director is responsible for managing the day to day operations for the Labor and delivery and Antepartum units.

 

Detailed responsibilities:
• Coordinates, manages and monitors all activities. Monitors quality, safety, productivity, and survey readiness.
• Assists in the development of interdisciplinary teams to establish, measure, and report performance opportunities, leads and mentors staff for growth and to drive quality and safety.
• Builds and encourages a productive working relationship with all staff members.
• Assists the Director in the collection, analysis and preparation of data reports including but not limited to: RIPPC, NIPC, FPQC.
• Assists the Director in preparation of content for departmental and organizational safety and quality meetings. Tracks and trends quality and safety concerns.
• Provides leadership that would encourage employee productivity and team engagement.

• Masters

 


Credentials:

• Registered Nurse License
• ACLS Certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification
• NRP Certification
