Position Summary:

The Administrative Assistant provides key support to multiple levels of management, professional, self-starter, confident, dependable, organized, priority driven, and innovative problem solver.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely preparation of reports and deliverables as required.
  • Coordinates management meetings, board meetings and ability to take minutes.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, solve problems and communicate issues timely.
  • General knowledge of email and Internet including the ability to perform additional research using online tools.
  • Exercises discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information.
  • Performs various administrative duties, including coordinating vendors, visitors, mail, and other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • Ability to follow up on pending items.
  • Coordinates daily calendar of manager and assist with planning appointments and events.

Employees also have a responsibility to understand the Bank's BSA/AML Program, the procedures outlined in it, and to follow the Program and procedures in carrying out their duties. Any employee that fails to adhere to the BSA/AML Program or commits other violations of the Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills:

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and work in a fast pace and changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
  • Ability to proofread and make grammatical and spelling corrections.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good attendance
  • Available to handle workload including hours outside of 8am 5pm, if needed.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products, general office equipment and software.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Suggests more efficient ways to operate and elevates ideas for process efficiencies.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Previous administrative assistant experience
  • Experience at an intermediate level or higher with Microsoft Office Suite (to include Word, Excel spreadsheets and formulas, and Powerpoint

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Banking experience
  • 3 years' administrative assistant experience

Essential Job Functions:

Essential job functions include the employee occupying this position will frequently be required to organize and coordinate schedules; and communicate with internal customers and vendors. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 60%of the time; frequently operate a telephone, computer, printer, copier, and fax machine; and occasionally move about inside the office to access office equipment, etc.
