Main Territory Focus: Miami-Dade County

Bilingual Spanish Speaking Required

A Sales Account Executive is a key company representative to all referral sources such as: Payors, Providers, Corporations, Unions and Managed Care organizations. Responsibility includes assessing opportunity and utilizing internal and external resources to solidify relationships that will increase profitable net revenues to meet budget objectives. The successful candidate must be proficient in all phases of respiratory sales and services and driving increased referrals of core therapies from demanding referral sources.


Current RCP State License in Florida preferred

2 years of RT field sales experience preferred

Keep all patient information confidential, in accordance with company procedure and HIPAA Regulation

Identifies present referral sources and develops database of individuals/organizations.

Assesses accounts for new business opportunities and promotes new company services. Secures renewal orders with existing customers.

Follow up with accounts on regular basis to check for client satisfaction, changing needs, territory strategies, progress in attaining sales goals, product mix, payor mix and market penetration, etc.

Initiates and coordinates in-services with clients and appropriate managers.

Provides opportunities to show appreciation and improve communication through lunches, etc.

Whenever possible, introduces new staff for smooth transition and strong communication.

Assists in obtaining required paperwork necessary for reimbursement.

Researches and identifies preferred new referral sources and develops database of individuals/organizations.

Cross-references new accounts with preferred provider agreements to assess the value of new accounts.

Identifies and establishes a strong relationship with the decision makers responsible for the control of referrals.

Develops and implements marketing plan for territory, consistent with company and corporate goals and regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Assists in developing new programs consistent with plan, client need and community desire.

Develops literature to access markets and enhance sales calls.

Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills. Must be self-motivated

Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills to deal with demanding referral source and physician expectations

Must have adequate PC skills to use e-mail and update nursing notes and other documentation electronically in a timely manner

Strong work ethic and desire to serve our referral sources and patients and to grow the business

Essential Job Functions

Evaluates referral source and for opportunities to improve customer satisfaction

Ability to initiate and develop good working relationships with referral sources and physicians to drive increased referrals

Maintains strong knowledge of PromptCare's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensures that they are applied consistently

Maintains compliance to all applicable laws, regulations and SOPs at all times

Conducts activities with a mindset of delivering "white glove" service to the referral sources and patients/family members

Projects a positive attitude at all times with referral sources and patients/family members, and gets involved in PromptCare's employee activities

Perform other duties as assigned

Able to work longer than normal hours with little or no notice, as needed

Attend staff meetings, teleconferences and patient care conferences as needed

Understand and follow PromptCare's employee policies and procedures
