Senior Account Executive - Enterprise Software SalesEmphasys SoftwarePembroke Pines, FL 33027Emphasys Software is currently seeking a Senior Account Executive - Enterprise Software Sales in Miami, FL to champion growth of our market-leading affordable housing solutions. We're looking for an exceptional salesperson - someone who will create and execute a proactive sales strategy, and who will drive new, strategic sales from opportunity identification to closure.PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESReporting directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the Senior Account Executive - Enterprise Software Sales will create and execute a strategy to sell Emphasys PHA's enterprise-level software solutions, leading or assisting in the full sales cycle, including sales strategy, lead generation, high-level solution assessment, demonstrations, partnering/teaming, proposal leadership, account plan management, and deal closure.Strategy: Execute forward-looking strategic sales in alignment with marketing initiatives to ensure a growing share of market. Refine target scope to best align with Emphasys PHA products.Sales Process: Work proactively in new markets that include mid- to long-term sales cycles. Maintain and grow steady sales pipeline. Lead and assist the RFP response process from solicitation through closure. Meet with potential clients to assess needs and highlight products. Effectively demonstrate products. Attend trade shows to build prospect list and positively reflect our brand. Exceed sales quota. Maintain sales data and prepare sales reports.Cross-Functional Relationships: Collaborate with the Operations, Development, and Support to transition new clients through the on-boarding process.Client Relationships: Constantly pursue new contacts and grow the opportunity pipeline. Cultivate long-term client relationships to leverage additional sales opportunities.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.5-10 years of direct software sales experience required. 10+ years of experience preferred.3-5 years of demonstrated success in public sector sales and/or complex RFP process required. Experience working in and managing both medium and long (3 months - 2 years), big-ticket sales cycles.Familiarity with public housing and/or affordable housing agencies is a plus.Ability to learn complex, enterprise-level software and demonstrate effectively.Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and competitive hunter who is always looking for the next sales opportunity.Excellent communication and people skills.Fluency in English required; fluency in Spanish preferred.Ability to travel up to 50% (may peak to 70%) to execute sales strategy.Although we are all remote during the current pandemic, this position will be based out of our Pembroke Pines office as soon as circumstances allow.WHY EMPHASYS?Emphasys Software has provided industry-leading software to the affordable housing community for over 40 years.
