Job Description:

Employment Solutions is looking for a Document Control Coordinator for the Miramar area. Our client is a Vitamin and Supplement Manufacturer who has been in business for over 20 years.


The Document Control Coordinator should be up to date with document management processes and have a detail-oriented mindset. A top-notch document control coordinator will have an extensive understanding of document management software and be able to handle document access intaking and archiving responsibilities.



Job Requirements:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guide and Supervise data processing, systems analysis and programming.

Estimate system requirements in coordination with clients, management, vendors and staff.

Outline and prioritize operational guidelines and deadlines of the control department.

Oversee receipt of emails and ftp files and provide Document control services.

Assess completeness and accuracy of attached documents and prepare soft copies.

Check promptness and approval of documents and ensure their timely turn over.

Record documents on computer according to file index.

Provide necessary assistance to engineering in PDM documentation and oversee accuracy through collation of libraries and manufacturing systems.

Maintain archive of documents and ensure all documentation follows government norms and provide issue resolution services.

Supervise track and issue documents and ensure documentation remains within regulations.

File master documents and support project on various levels.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Self-directed, the ability to work independently, and being highly motivated.

Experience with document control software, process map software, FTP clients, ISO, SharePoint and FileNet is a PLUS, not required

Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel

Proficient typing and editing skills

Data organization skills

Attention to detail

Must be computer-savvy


PREFFERED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role

Familiarity with project management


KNOWLEDGE:

Good knowledge of MS Office and databases

Knowledge of product assurance standards, regulations, and best practices.
