Spanish Speaking Legal Assistant

Company: Rossen Law Firm
Location: Miramar
Posted on: November 18, 2022

Job Description:

Spanish-Speaking Legal Assistant for Criminal Law Firm in South Florida

The Rossen Law Firm is a growing criminal defense law firm in Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton that provides a meaningful and compassionate defense to each of our clients. We love helping good people when something bad happens. Our legal team is committed to producing outstanding results and building relationships with our clients.

You will be part of a thriving dream team comprised of the most passionate criminal defense attorneys and will be deeply involved in our commitment to providing our clients with the respect, understanding, and compassion that they deserve. If you like to work in a fast-paced environment where you will rarely be bored, you've come to the right place!

About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join a team devoted to providing the best criminal defense legal services to our South Florida community.

The legal assistant's primary function is to support the lawyer in all aspects of what they do. This involves anticipating project needs, managing workload, and producing the highest quality work in a timely manner. We are looking for someone with strong project ownership, legal knowledge, and communication skills who thrives when working in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.

Knowledge of criminal law is a bonus but not necessary. Spanish speaking is a bonus but not necessary.

Who Should Apply?

The person we hire will know what it means to--build relationships--- not just with clients and our team members, but with every person who interacts with our firm. Law firms are driven far more by relationship marketing than any other kind. Our Receptionist is the first point of contact for our firm and the person we hire will value that responsibility and understand its importance to the firm's growth.

We need someone who truly understands what it means that everyone accused of a crime is truly innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If you don't think criminal defense clients "get off based on technicalities," then apply.--We do not believe the constitution is a technicality.

Our Standard

Our firm overturns every stone to maximize each client's chances to "beat" their case. We do not cut corners, ever. We play the "process" more so than the "result". If you are a corner-cutter, this firm is not for you. We do that while giving people of all races, gender, class, etc. The Ritz Carlton experience.

We Take Care of Our People

--- Completive pay based on your experience and background
