Systems solution/service infrastructure according to agreements, on
time, on budget and with good quality. This is a key role in
strengthening our global Information Systems team, assisting in
Turbocharging Service, Process Automation Turbocharging.You will
ensure the stable operation of the IT (Information Technology)
infrastructure in his scope of responsibility. This includes
developing, maintaining, supporting and optimizing key functional
Regions, particularly network infrastructure, server
infrastructure, data communications, telecommunications systems and
end user experience including printing.This position reports toLBU
ControllerYour responsibilities
- Requirement Management (Strategy and Planning): Gather and
Align local Information Systems related business requirements with
global and contribute to the
- global solutioning, act as IT entry point for his team
- Follow policies, procedures and associated training plans for
infrastructure administration and project management
- Participate in the development of IT strategies in
collaboration with the global team
- Conduct local research and make recommendations on products,
services, protocols and standards in support of all infrastructure
procurement and development efforts
- Ensure service level agreements with business units
- Acquisition & Deployment: At global scale represent Region
scope in RFPs (Request for proposal---) , bid proposals, contracts,
scope of work reports and other
- documentation for infrastructure projects and associated
efforts
- Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure
security measures
- For local scope negotiate with vendors, outsourcers and
contractors to secure infrastructure specific products and
services
- Operational Management: Be local IT focal point for globally
contracted vendor activities in his scope
- Support feasibility studies for various upgrade projects,
improvements and other conversions
- Ensure hardware and software standards in conjunction with
owners and stakeholders
- Monitor network and server performance and support strategies
for maintaining network and server infrastructure up to date (for
local solutions)
- Manage operational costs; conduct near and long term financial
forecasts for expanded functionality/user base
- Actively participate in regular written and in person
communications with the organization's leadership, decision makers,
stakeholders, department heads and end users regarding pertinent
infrastructure activities
- Support on IT asset management, including maintenance of
component inventory and related documentation
- Own Major Incident Management Process for his scope of
responsibility
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development,
upgrade and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs
(Personal Computer), operating systems, hardware, software and
peripherals for his scope of responsibility
- Oversee provision of end user services, including help desk
contribution and technical support servicesYour background
- University degree or college diploma in the field of computer
science or equivalent work experience and minimum 12 years
experience managing and delivering infrastructure design and
operational excellence
- Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, as
well as successful service level agreement accomplishments
- Hands on experience in troubleshooting hardware
- Knowledge of current protocols and standards, including ITIL
Process landscape
- Application support experience is an extra
- Experience in interpreting the applicability of local and
federal laws/regulations to company operations
- Ability to make sound and logical judgments
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management
skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication
skills
- English language is a must
- Able to conduct research into issues and products as
required
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure
environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- Ability to present ideas in a user friendly language
- Keen attention to detail
- Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
- Strong customer service orientation
