Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Miramar, FL. Key Tasks:

• Scrum Master will lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
• Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
• Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
• Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
• As a Scrum Master, you will help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
• Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed
• Support the need for effective knowledge management at the product team level
• Help develop and execute strategies to effectively onboard new product team members
• Scrum Masters own the methodology and quality of progress reporting to support Program-level outcomes
• Tracks and reports on team velocity/productivity
• Coordinates with other scrum teams to identify and align on cross-team dependencies
• Drives forward with a dual focus on achieving balance between delivery and quality Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:
  • CSM required
  • Prior experience on a scrum team for design and implementation of applications
  • Experience in agile ways of organization beyond Scrum such as Kanban
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques
  • Ability to work with and lead a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
  • Demonstrable experience of asset and knowledge discovery supporting the creation of knowledge articles
  • Demonstrable experience in working with product owners to identify, deliver and prioritize activities required to build the product backlog
  • Demonstrable experience of working with varied scrum teams at a mix of virtual and physical locations to deliver against the scrum sprints
  • Demonstrable experience of hosting and planning regular stand-ups as well as sprint planning
  • Demonstrable experience of running and presenting retrospectives both physically and remotely
  • Significant experience in complex solutions for large government organizations using a diverse engineering and technology team
