If so, we think you should get to know us.Job ResponsibilitiesThe HR Compliance Specialist is responsible for leading various company-wide HR compliance programs, which include, but are not limited to, COVID tracking, leave administration, I-9 compliance, SOP development, exit, and onboarding survey resolution and follow-up. The individual will be a compliance subject matter expert supporting systems and projects for the Human Resources Departmentand ensuring all compliance-related legal and regulatory requirements are addressed.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty.

  • Manage COVID tracking process and provide system administration support for tracking database, create ticketing system and compliance dashboard; partner with HR to confirm and document accommodation requests.
  • Support and execute the I9 verification system and process; maintain process document; the key point of contact and knowledge base for I9 process and visa requirements; drive process improvements across HR teams.
  • Manage company leave of absence escalations, partner with HR to ensure consistency in approval of leave cases. Monitor state and local leave laws and partner with TAM to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor exit and onboarding ticketing process and recommend improvements in any areas of deficiency, follow-up with HR to a resolution of potential legal issues.
  • Proactively monitor business processes with a focus on compliance with legal and/or regulatory requirements. Develop suggested improvement and/or remediation initiatives when necessary.
  • Coordinates and performs reporting, analyses, and audits of key HR programs and processes, compiling metrics and analyzing results to monitor compliance and recommend actions to drive compliance across the organization.Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions for the roleAdditional Duties & Responsibilities

    • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
    • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
    • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
    • Perform any range of special projects, tasks, and other related duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibility
      • This position does not require any supervisory responsibilitiesEducation & Experience
        • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field preferred.Equivalent work experience will be considered.
        • PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certifications preferred.Knowledge, Skills & ProficienciesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
          • Must be results-oriented and self-driven; proactively identifying and analyzing potential risk areas for the HR department.
            • Previous experience in any of the following: Core HCM, I9, Experience Management, and/or Analytics tools is highly desirable.
              • Excellent organizational skills and project management.
              • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
              • Advanced written communication skills.
              • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
              • Knowledge of basic accounting/budgeting procedures.
              • Ability to work under pressure, adjust to constant changes, handle multiple tasks, and coordinate the work of others.
              • Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats and in a timely manner
              • Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
              • Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
              • Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
