Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurses to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on a PRN
(as-needed) basis. In this role, you will be tasked with providing
critical care to infants with varying medical conditions in a
high-paced, supportive environment that prioritizes compassionate
care and advanced medical treatments. As a member of the HCA
Healthcare team, you will benefit from our commitment to the
continued learning and professional development of our nursing
staff. Provide direct and specialized nursing care to neonates
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create and
implement care plans Administer medications and maintain detailed
documentation of patient status Educate and support parents and
family members on neonatal condition management Ensure compliance
with all hospital and health and safety protocols Expertise in
neonatal care best practices Proficiency in high-tech health
equipment for neonates Strong communication skills for interacting
with family and healthcare professionals Critical thinking in
high-stress situations Ability to advocate for the needs of
patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of
practice Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
Certification for Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) is
preferred
