Manager - Research Specialists- Registered Nurse: CORP - MHS Clinical Research - Hollywood, FL -; -; Summary:Performs clinical and administrative functions in support of the design, implementation, and management of clinical research projects. Has direct supervision of Research Specialists in designated specialty. -; Detailed responsibilities:--- Assists with designing and procuring funding for new study protocols. Assists with the preparation, submission and management of internal/external compliance documentation at all stages of the research project.--- Participates in the selection, education, testing and monitoring of research project patients. Collaborates with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity and efficacy of study protocols and patient care.--- Documents patient/study results using departmental information systems and applications. Communicates patient/study results on an on-going basis to research team.--- Monitors the quality assurance process. Participates in QA/QI initiatives to ensure the department's compliance with applicable standards of care and regulatory requirements.--- Direct supervision of research specialists in designated specialty, including hiring, work product and performance management. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required Work Experience: Three (3) years nursing and two (2) years of Clinical Research experience.
