Job Description:
Technician III - Pharmacy - FT FLEX - $2500 Sign On Bonus -
MRHS: Pharmacy - Hollywood, FL ---- Summary:The registered and
certified pharmacy technician III works under the direct
supervision of licensed pharmacists to provide distributive
pharmacy services and support to the pharmacy department.
Additionally, provides a high level of assistance in distribution,
dispensing, and compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications,
and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal,
regulatory, and safety requirements. -- Detailed
responsibilities:--- Competent and skilled to perform all duties of
Technician I and Technician II.--- Demonstrates proficiency in one
or more specialty areas as required to meet the demands of the
department (e.g. neonates, oncology, purchasing, automation,
auditing , reimbursement, total parenteral nutrition, inventory
management).--- Trains, leads and serves as a resource to other
technicians to help manage daily operational workflow.---
Independently executes and completes pharmacy projects or reports
under the direction of pharmacy leadership.--- Assists with
development, organization, and implementation of process
improvement, continuous quality and safety initiatives and
outcomes.--- Able to perform all activities in the pharmacy

others in a team with minimal supervision. The incumbent must
demonstrate the ability to respond positively in a stressful

department.Required Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience as
a Pharmacy TechnicianAdvanced computer skills preferredReference:
Job Functions of a Technician I:-Maintains and supports medication
distribution systems and distribution channels, including automated
dispensing cabinets, unit dose systems, code carts, trays and
kits.-Prepares, fills, receives, delivers, stocks and restocks
medication inventory and supplies for the pharmacy department and
drug storage areas.-Assists with customer service and patient
needs, including answering telephones, managing work queues and
completing medication histories.-Prepares non-sterile compounded
medications, including hazardous preparations.-Performs
prescription data entry in pharmacy system when applicable.-Process
medication charges/credits when applicable.-Responsible for
orienting and training new pharmacy technicians or
students.-Completes other responsibilities as assigned in support

II:-Competent and skilled to perform all duties of Technician
I.-Performs sterile compounding, including limited hazardous
medications in accordance with regulatory requirements.-Assists
with process improvement and continuous quality and safety
monitoring initiatives. -Assists with procurement of medications
