Job Description:

Summary:Ensures that patient care services are delivered in a manner that balances quality of care with efficiency, cost-containment and compliance with regulatory requirements.Detailed responsibilities:

  • Analyzes trauma cases for prospective, concurrent and retrospective review of documentation, care and compliance with trauma policies and performance improvement indicators.
  • Communicates with healthcare providers and community partners for the purposes of performance improvement and education.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure coordination of care. Assists in trauma resuscitation when needed,
  • Develops, implements and facilitates quality evaluation and improvement initiatives.Competencies and skills:Essential:
