-Optum's URAC and ACHC accredited Specialty Pharmacy, Optum
Infusion Pharmacy, serves the needs of patients with complex
chronic diseases. The Regional Sales Director, Hemophilia, is
responsible for the strategic direction of the Regional Account
Management team and achievement of sales goals and key objectives.
-The Regional Sales Director, Hemophilia leads and motivates a team
to increase specialty pharmacy revenue / margin and ensures the
achievement of sales goals analyzes and interprets sales data,
evaluates current business, identifies new sales opportunities,
develops strategy, develops target / prescriber reports, develops
business plans, and executes the plan. This individual will be
responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and
coaching Regional Account Managers. They will be evaluating goals
and conducting performance reviews. They will be collaborating with
Optum Infusion pharmacy personnel to provide best-in-class service
efficiently and effectively to customers and coordinating with
Optum's Managed Care Team to maximize impact of contracts. This
person will act as an Optum Infusion Pharmacy account lead in this
therapeutic key account in the Region.To perform this job

- Leads, motivates, and coaches Regional Account Managers to
achieve sales goals. Drives accountability at a territory
level
- Leads, motivates, and coaches Patient Liaison's to achieve
patient retention and grow service at territory level
- Develops regional strategy and plan of action for the following
therapeutic area: Hemophilia
- Recruits, interviews, and hires top talent -
- Trains and develops talent. Leads team through change -
- Demonstrates technical selling skills and Optum Infusion
Pharmacy service model expertise
- Collaborates with pharmacy operations team to ensure superior
customer service -
- Analyzes and summarizes data and trends -
- Routinely communicates with centralized marketing team
regarding resources, competitive activity, etc.
- Interfaces with pharmaceutical manufacturers to highlight Optum
Infusion Pharmacy service excellence -
- Builds business relationships with health care professionals

- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining
personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of working experience in healthcare related sales
- 1+ years in sales leadership or training leader in sales -
- Experience working within a community with a rare disorder
- Experience in effectively collaborating with internal and
external stakeholders -
- Proven history of driving sales results and achieving goals

- Proven success in a dynamic, fast paced environment -
- Proven willingness to travel a minimum of 60%
- Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to
travel to client and/or patient sites within a designated
areaPreferred Qualifications:
- Hemophilia experience
- Experience selling a complex service -
- Experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Device, Infusion,
Medical supplies, or related industry -
- Experience calling on Medical Institutions and Hospitals
-California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York,
Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York,
Rhode Island or Washington residents is $90,000 to $180,000 per
year. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales
performance. Pay is based on several factors including but not
limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such
