OverviewThe Director Commercial Field Engagement is a Senior IT leader with a proven track record of leading teams to improve relationships, deliver, and support technology solutions. -The job requires a transformational mindset with the ability to turn complex ideas and requirements into functional and technical solutions focused on exceptional experiences for stakeholders that value business. This role requires strong business acumen and a strategic solutioning mindset. Strong technology partner focused on delivering transformational business change in a fast-paced business environment that expects high quality delivery and continuous improvement. -This role will lead initiatives with a mindset focused on products vs. projects and is highly customer and supplier focused. -The role is both a proven Business Leader and a proven IT leader who possesses the ability to fully leverage new and existing technology platforms with a focus on meeting internal customers, external customers business objectives. -Specialized Skills and Technologies

  • Experience in the appropriate business function business solutions:
    • Commercial technology platforms experience, Customer Relationship Management, B2B eCommerce, Mobile device order processing, Commercial planning, Goal managementPrimary Responsibilities
      • Communicates with upper-management and internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
      • Oversee and manage application development and maintenance or infrastructure efforts across SGWS
      • Work with business partners to ensure a fit for purpose solution is designed
      • Responsible for the delivery of required technology components on time and on budget
      • Managing rolling three-year technology roadmaps and vision/strategy for each system and dataset ensuring adherence to a defined enterprise architecture and set of standards
      • In partnership with the Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for delivering on the business cases
      • Oversee the delivery of any central technology development.
      • Insight into the processes supporting Agile Software Development Capabilities
      • Knows business process to allow IT to create new applications and make enhancements to existing applications -
      • DevOps standardize application development tools, standard process/practice, enterprise architecture, continuous deployment, and application monitoring capabilities
      • Maintains and develops strong understanding of functional partner needs and strategic priorities -
      • Mentors, develops, motivates, and coaches teams to work collaboratively and effectively
      • Works cross functionally across ETP and outside of ETP with key business stakeholders and Commercial Leadership across the regions and sites
      • Works closely with the technical application development teams to drive continuous improvement and efficiency -
      • Applies significant knowledge of industry trends, developments, and capabilities to address and improve business capabilities
      • Support development of ROI analysis to help justify and maximize business and IT investments
      • Support project initiatives and help teams to manage work to budget
      • Ensures that solutions and services deliver at or above expected business value
      • Translates business needs into effective and improved processes and/or technical solutions or services coordinating with associated technology partners both internally and externally
      • Implements a successful data sharing vision/strategy through strong leadership skills and business case development that ensures the realization of business-partner value
      • Identifies and translates functional needs and goals into business case driven strategic roadmaps and executable portfolios of activities to achieve the business outcomes
      • Keeps abreast of technological changes, trends and innovations in the information business applications/systems field and provides technical support and direction
      • Participates in industry peer groups to understand industry trends and implements and recommends best practice solutions
      • Drives process and technology changes throughout the organization in support of business objectives
      • Monitors technology, risk, and opportunity while providing clear and consistent communication to Sr. IT leadership
      • Creates measures for successful execution, including policies, processes, procedures, and controls
      • Proactively works with IT Architecture team to design a robust, flexible set of services and capabilities that are efficient and cost effective
      • Educate ETP and business stakeholders on relevant technology capabilities to enable better IT solutionsMinimum Qualifications
        • Bachelors degree and formal education in relevant disciplines (Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant degree)
        • 12+ years of business technology leadership/management role
        • Prior supervisory experience
        • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
        • Ability to work with multiple technologies, aptitude for new technologies and ability to effectively apply technological solutions to business problems
        • Proven experience in planning, organization, implementation and development of applications or infrastructure
        • Experience successfully managing the support of application, systems, or infrastructure environments
        • Ability to provide strong leadership and timely/effective performance feedback
        • Exceptional written and oral communications, with ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees
        • Exceptional organizational skills; proven ability to multi-task
        • Able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
        • Measures personal success through impact on business results, and client service
        • Able to stand back from immediate problems to focus on more far reaching ideas
        • Develops a strategic plan to realize the vision
        • Revises and adjusts strategy considering changing circumstances
        • Takes a long-term view of organizational success

        • Ability to lead a team environment with Agile delivery valuesPreferred Qualifications
          • Masters Degree
          • Proficient with Scrumban, XP, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile frameworks
          • Proficiency with Office365
          • Led systems development methodology and infrastructure project delivery
          • Led Agile teams
          • Manage program budget, risk, and issues
          • Competent with SAFe, Scrumban, XP, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile frameworks
          • Experience in food and beverage, CPG or distribution industryAgile Delivery Values
