This role provides multi-disciplinary and comprehensive HR support to designated regions. Essential Job Functions include those listed below. This list not inclusive of all duties assignedESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Administers, recommends, and implements various human resources plans and procedures within their designated region(s).Organizes and supports all activities within the HR department, including helping to develop departmental goals, objectives, and systems under the direction of HR leadership.Performs an array of HR functions within their designated region(s), including handling FMLA cases, processing Workers Compensation claims, coordinating workplace investigations, performing employment verifications, etc.Serves as a strategic partner by advising on company policies, and procedures, acting as a mediator during conflict, and ensuring HR objectives align with regional goals.Maintains records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO, OSHA, and various other regulations and finding bodies.Drafts, finalizes, and rewrites job descriptions as necessary.Coordinates the full-cycle recruiting process, including job ad placement, interviewing, pre-hire screening, onboarding, and orientation in the absence of a state-level administrator/recruiter.Participates in administrative, leadership, disciplinary, and other meetings as required.Recommends new approaches and policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.Must Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; andPerform all other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Keen attention to detail and the ability to exercise is good judgement required.Ability to work well both alone and as part of a team required.Strong computer skills, to encompass all Microsoft Office applications required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High level of initiative, integrity, and discipline.Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality.Professional appearance and demeanor.Must be culturally/linguistically sensitive to populations served.Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a criminal background clearanceValid drivers license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCares vehicle insurance is required; andDuring your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:A minimum of two (2) years human resources or administrative experience is required.Experience with full cycle recruitment is preferred.Bilingual english/spanish (preferred)Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or other field related to the position is preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent is required.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification preferred; Preference will be given to those candidates who are currently Certified.WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is primarily in a professional, business office setting.Fast paced environment.Potential for high noise level at times.Some outdoor activities and travel between multiple locations will be required.Regular and prompt attendance is required throughout employment.A minimum of 40 hours per week are expected but significantly more hours will often be required. Completion of job duties may require working before and after normal working hours. Being able to work as many hours as is necessary to complete job tasks is a required and essential duty of this position.
