At the same time, we seek to provide our shareholders with superior financial performance and our communities with earth-sensitive energy utilization.How you'll contributeAssist in the planning and execution of internal project(s) focused on the delivery of new or existing products, services, processes and/or technologies from initiation through delivery. Organize cross-functional activities and contribute to project completion while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. Additionally, serve as an in-house project consultant in evaluating needs and vendor requests for proposal. Responsible for small-scale business/IT projects and/or portions of a program. Assist in the development and implementation process of projects involving departmental, vendor relationships, and/or cross-functional teams Partner with project stakeholders to define and confirm project objectives, scope, roles & responsibilities Define resource requirements and manage resource availability & allocation Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements Track project costs in order to meet budget Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, to schedule key project milestones, work stream & activities Manage delivery of the project according to this plan Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues Submit project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information Establish effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution Serve as a point of contact for project teams, when multiple practices and/or departments are allocated to the same project, to ensure team actions remain in synergy Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts to scope, schedule and/or budget Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the appropriate stakeholders Identify and develop new opportunities with clients Manage the relationship and communication with the project sponsor and all stakeholder, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables Manage customer satisfaction within the project transition period Conduct post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements Participate in continuous improvement initiatives of established frameworks, methodologies, and best practices Perform other duties as assigned For this role you will needMinimum Requirements Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) preferred in a related discipline 2+ years of experience in project coordination/management with an Associates degree or 1+ year of experience in project coordination/management with a BA/BS Demonstrated proficiency is using both Mac and PC platforms as well as expertise in Microsoft O365, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other office productivity tools. Proficiency with project management software Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation; the ability to build and maintain professional, friendly and cordial relationships with colleagues, peers and external vendors Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals in a complex, face-paced environment Flexible and able to multi task, switch priorities as needed within a collaborative environment Highly resourceful team player with the ability to also be effective independently Mobilize and motivate project teams, set direction and approach, drive stakeholder alignment, and build consensus Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of service excellence Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong proficiency in grammar, spelling and proofreading Well organized, detail-oriented and precise Preferred Qualifications CAPM - Certified Associate In Project Mgmt. Applicable to Colorado Applicants Only: The salary for this role is $62,500 to $77,000 This role is also eligible for the Company's incentive plan The Company also offers benefits as outlined to eligible employees: The hourly or salary range is the range United Therapeutics Corporation in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable under the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
