Summary Manage department providing information, primarily
financial in nature, about all Company activities that will assist
management, its shareholders, and other users in making educated
economic decisions about the company's future. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Develops financial plans for the organization by
providing financial projections and accounting services, preparing
growth plans, and directing staff in the US and MexicoAccomplishes
finance success criteria strategies by determining
accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and
procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation,
training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication
programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job
contributions; and planning and reviewing compensation
strategies.Develops finance organizational strategies by
contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and
recommendations to strategic thinking and direction and
establishing functional objectives in line with organizational
objectives.Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating
trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production,
productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing
systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; and
implementing change.Develops organization prospects by studying
economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition
and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations;
identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and
systems enhancement; and accumulating capital to fund
expansion.Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital,
facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources;
and developing action plans.Monitors financial performance by
measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and
minimizing the impact of variances.Maximizes return on invested
funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining
relationships with the investment community.Reports financial
status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing
variances, and developing improvements.Updates job knowledge by
remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational
opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining
personal networks, and participating in professional
organizations.Accomplishes finance and organization mission by
completing related results as needed.Oversee the activities of the
Department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts
payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense
reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate
payroll tax compliance.Assure corporate income tax compliance to
assure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income
tax returns taking full advantage of all favorable tax
codes.Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the
integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the
Company's value.Participate in a wide variety of special projects
and compile a variety of special reports. Oversee the quality of
the work performed by team and ensure deadlines are met in a timely
manner. Prioritize and delegate workload as necessary and align
resources to work assignments and processes to meet business
requirements. Provide leadership and direction and assist in the
investigation and resolution of internal and external problems and
concerns. Maintain awareness of changes in rules, statutes or
regulations and communicate changes to staff. Direct training of
staff when new procedures are required to comply with
changes.Develop and/or ensure conformance with Standard Operating
Procedures and maintain existing procedures. Review processes and
ensure they are compliant with current statute and make
recommendations as necessary to streamline processes. Manage the
communication and compliance of SOP's within teams.Additional
Responsibilities Maintain safe work area and comply with safety
procedures while performing the work.Conduct business with the
highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical
conduct.May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups
to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, and
resolve problems.Maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining
to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory
guidelines within the US, Mexico and Canada.Perform or assist with
any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as
assigned to maintain workflow and meet schedules.Supervisor
ResponsibilitiesDirectly or indirectly supervise a team within the
Accounting department in the US and Mexico.Education and Experience
MBA or bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or
equivalent experience.Master's degree preferred.Certified Public
Accountant certification a plus.Minimum 10 years' experience in
accounting and financial management practices.Experience in a
senior management position.Proficiency with accounting software,
word processing, and spreadsheets.Solid GAAP and financial
reporting technical skills.Knowledge, Skills and Proficiency

usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a
personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods
