Job Description Job Description Company Description FHP Manufacturing, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier. FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry. Job Description Assist electrical and control development of HVAC water source systems, including Design & Testing of Electrical Boxes, Layout, Harnesses, Specifications and Optimizations of System and Components. Motor Control / Inverter (System Optimization, Specifications, Testing) Testing and System Optimization (Simulation & Lab Testing) Assist performing engineering modifications & Update drawings & processes. Electrical and Electronics support of new & existing Products Electrical designs including cable harnesses & routings, component specs, Write Reports, Document Data and Communicate Findings Ownership to resolve technical problems or prompt response to address issues and escalate as needed Adhere to Safety & Security Protocols Be a team player within cross function teams, understand multidiscipline needs (Engineering, Marketing, Assembly, Logistics, Purchasing,etc ) and support them as needed Support cross functional teams including designers, CAD, Lab Technicians, Manufacturing Support Product & Project tasks such as testing, lab and manufacturing. Qualifications B.A in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (Electrical, Software, Controls) Ability to work with multiple teams & disciplines Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate engineering requirements.
