the Chief Inspector Is responsible for the Quality Control of the
repairs within the 145 repair station. Must adhere to the Repair
Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), Component Maintenance
Manuals (CMM), and all 14 CFR Aviation Regulations.
Duties/Responsibilities of the Chief Inspector - Meet requirements
as set in §65.71 and possess an Airframe Certificate - Train,
direct, and assist all inspection personnel performing work under
the repair station certificate as directed by the Accountable
Manager - Ensure the proficiency of every inspector by completing
the Inspector Proficiency Checklist Form RSF-211-01. - Ensure all
incoming, hidden damage, preliminary, in-process, and final
inspections are performed following the procedures outlined in the
manual. - Submit reports of serious failures, malfunctions, or
defects per the procedures described in the manual. - Respond to
any request for inspection of this repair station certificate. -
Determine the final disposition of articles failing to meet the
incoming inspection review. - Ensure appropriate calibrations and
checks are made on the tools and equipment used by the repair
station. - Red-tag or placard any malfunctioning or non-functioning
equipment. - Ensure records of all calibrations and checks are kept
current, and calibrations are performed under the standards and
procedures described in the manual. - Responsible for inventory
levels of repair parts. Execute re-orders of materials, receive
materials, and upload all required documents into the log. - Assist
Field & Tech Services with questions - Additional duties as needed

skills/abilities of the Chief Inspector - Read and understand
drawings, manuals (CMMs), work instructions, and schematics. - Use
industry-standard electronics bench test equipment, i.e., Spectrum
Analyzer, O-scope, multi-meter, and power supplies. - Ability to
read, write, and speak English. - Proficient with a PC and
Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Computer and
website navigation skills are required. - Strong Customer service
and communication skills - Phone skills are required, as well as
organizational skills Knowledge, Education, and Experience of the
Chief Inspector - Airframe Certification required, A&P Desired
- 3-5 years of experience in electronics or avionics installation
and repair required - Experience dealing with Aviation OEMs is a
plus - General knowledge of the FAA requirements for a FAR 145
