Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a climate-controlled facility specializing in cosmetic packaging and filling operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of production equipment and supporting systems. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on packaging, filling, and labeling machinery to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to resolve equipment issues quickly. Inspect and maintain conveyors, pumps, mixers, and automated filling lines for optimal performance. Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment concerns, ensuring smooth workflow. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance. Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies while working in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Assist with equipment changeovers and setup for different product runs. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency. Qualifications 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment (cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical preferred). Strong knowledge of mechanical systems; basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment and automated machinery is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
