Job Description:
Locust Dance Academy of Miramar is seeking a Saturday instructor
/ instructors for the upcoming 2020-2021 season and substitute
teachers for the current season. Classes include pre-school
Creative Ballet / Tap, Ballet for grades 1-5 and pre-teens / teens,
and Technique for pre-teens / teens. Instructor must have
experience teaching these ages and possess patience, a strong and
consistent work ethic and a positive attitude. At least two
references are required, three preferred. Pay is per class and is
negotiable. Please email a brief bio, teaching resume and headshot
for consideration. Locust Dance Academy of Miramar (LDA), founded
in 2017, is a boutique studio with entertainment industry
experience that offers excellence in education and inspiration for
dancers ages 3 and up. LDA also partners with community
organizations such as Hoops4Hope and Making Strides Against Breast
Cancer. LDA is a branch of Locust Performing Arts Center of
Stamford, which is in the greater New York City area.
