Job Description:

A real estate firm located in Florida is actively seeking a dynamic and hardworking professional to join their staff as their new Treasury Analyst. In this role, the Treasury Analyst will oversee both Banking and Cash Management and provide administrative support, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.

Responsibilities

The Treasury Analyst will:

• Review, process and reply to all assigned treasury request from the Treasury ticketing system
• Assist Property Managers and/or Banks regarding requests
• Process new account announcements
• Preparation of electronic signatures using different softwares
• Assist with closure of accounts by reviewing and preparing packages for banks
• Prepare deposits of closure checks received from banks
• Update different Excel spreadsheets for informational/tracking purpose
• Support the processing of daily cash management requests
• Prepare and record book transfers and stop payments via partner banks
• Research and address accounts that are in an overdraft position with partner banks
• Answer inquiries regarding cash management procedures and researches specific transactions
• Assist treasury leaders in the preparation of documenting/updating Cash Management Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist Property Managers, internal client accounting departments, and/or Banks regarding requests
• Special Projects as assigned and other treasury and banking services as necessary
  Qualifications
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years of functional experience in Banking or Cash Management
  • Demonstrated ability to understand effective cash management processes and be proactive in improving work flows to support & improve cash processes and establish best practices
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.Desired skills
    • Experience in Property Management
